Sunday - Redo Day

We got it to work - Ok sort of - Rainbow Milk
Try #5 -  we finally have the right ink - egg dye ink -low fat milk

Try #6 Ink closer together  - we poured the dishwasher soap in then swirled it

Our next experiment - but I did not take pictures - was to see if a mint or hot sauce made your mouth warmer by degrees, or if you just felt warmer or cooler.
Both girls took the temperature of their mouth.
Then they put a mint on their tongue then took temperature again
Then they waited and took the temperature to make sure they started at the same place.
Next they put hot sauce on their tongues
Then they took the temperature to see if there was a difference.
Finally they put both in their mouth at same time and take the temperature a final time.

Here is our finding
name - temp - feel - what

Mac - 95.7 - nothing - normal                           Belle - 95.8 - Nothing - normal
Mac - 93.8 - mint - cold                                   Belle - 96.1 - mint - cold
Mac - 95.7 - nothing - normal                           Belle - 95.8 - nothing - normal
Mac - 98.0 - hot sauce - hot                             Belle - 95.3 - hot sauce - hot

Daddy - 96.8 - nothing - normal
Daddy - 97.8 - cool with sweat running down the back of his neck

We were supposed to find that your mouth gets cooler when you put mint or hot sauce in your mouth, but we found the opposite - so your guess is as good as mine - we might try this one again - Your nerves are supposed to tell you if it's hot or cold, not your body temperature.

We also check on our flowers, and yes they did start to turn colors - the blue one mostly and the red one started turning the leaves on the stem - so we added more egg dye ink to the cups and we will see what happens.
